Reasonable day.

I am seeing this with the volume-spike trades:

They hit when we get the volume spike, the yellow indi and are getting turned around by a level. Which isn't surprising..the vol spike and yellow indi will go together fairly naturally. The level just makes for a better trade.

Looking at the 5min chart, the trade that could have been held for quite a bit was obvious, it was with the 5min trend, and we had made a new low before the pullback.

The other thing that I am noticing is that the vol spikes show the trend direction to some degree...again, not surprising.

I included the 6E chart to show the vol spikes on it, since I am using that chart for those trades

Yesterday was a sh*t show. I held and added and got hammered. No need to post...Will just say that I have to stop adding.. Working with the Currenex panel to set stop losses quickly is a trick, but it was part of the goal of today's trading....along with getting myself to accept losers. Was able to do both.. Not a positive trading day...but got the above goals. Not thrilled to put on those training wheels, but will put ego aside.

Actually up a little bit to cover commissions. I took half position size on the winners and full on the losers. So up a little a whisker in $$, which I guess is all that counts in the end.

Two trades. Market was without direction for much of the session. Took the two trades both of what I was seeing on the volume charts. I expect to be able to take some pseudo dblx trades in the future, using volume to help see additional turnaround points.
