Couple last trades for the year

Decent day. Had some losers, but I think I have a grip on why they didn't fly.  Had some wins that put me in the black for the day.

Better day today.  Three trades on NQ.

Tuesday, December 18

Rough day again.  The trade on NQ didn't have a lot confirming, but was solid.  I felt the trade on CL had a good bit going for it, but lost.

Monday, December 17

Rough day today.  Some bad calls.  First and second trades were off a solid area with what I would consider a good entry.  First one got nicked.  Second trade, I  moved SL to BE on the 2nd half and it got hit.  3rd trade was simply off the stopping volume.Two things wrong with this (3rd) trade.  a) I didn't wait for my typical setup, the inside pullback. b) it wasn't at a level.  I had hoped to redeem the day and end positive, but this put the day in the red a little further.

Friday, December 14

Just one trade on NQ today. I didn't take any on CL.  Got in a bit late to the office.

Thursday, December 13th

Good day.  +4 on NQ, +36 on CL.  Working with a bit of a new setup.  Not terribly dissimilar to the double top/bottom, but a bit more informed.

Just one trade again today.  Gimp short on the NQ using the Renko4 for +12.

Made a couple mistakes and entered at open and during news.  A couple others that didn't happen either.

A bit down today.

Couple things:

1)  I took the same trade on the TF and NQ, so I got double hit on that trade

2) On that same trade, my typical SL on TF would not have been hit.  I entered a tick late and my SL was placed at the dbl top, so even when the top was not peirced, my SL was hit.

3) I have noticed that I very rarely have a SL hit on a dbl bot/top trade that doesn't come back into profit shortly.  Not sure how to address this, or if I should just leave my SL where it is for safety's sake.  Difficult to watch the price move right back into my entry and beyond on nearly all of these..
