Only had a little bit of time for watching the market today. Got in one trade.

Thursday

Pulled up CNX and saw that the spreads were not too high, and the market had some movement to it. Just took the one trade for +5.7

No trades today...Spread is junk, and got to finish making xmas presents.

Price coming up to and crossing 377 wma on 8 range.

Price pulling back to 50sma on 1min.

Price pulling back to the notable EMA's on the 5min.

Thinking about the Phil Nell strategy of looking for a strong trend and waiting for price to come between the 10 and 21 emas on the 5min..use these other two charts in conjunction with 5min to dial in the entry better...and get more entries. The ability for the price to come back between the 10 and 21 is just a speed issue, and the market may not be moving fast enough to make it happen.

+12 + for the day. Didn't trade much of the morning as their was a bunch of news, and I have pulled out trading right around 9:30

First chart is 1 min, which I am using to try to help me not get into hairy stuff after little breakouts on the 1min, and to help identify the more immediate trend.

2-25 General Observations

Did not get many trades today, as market really was stalled in an area for quite some time.

Trend was convincingly down at prior to 9:30. The DJI was way up at the start and I got in right at 9:30 when price came up to 50 and a nearby fib. That may not have been wise as it could act like news...Will keep an eye on that.
